Stunning red, white and blue cocktails, fit for a King!
The Red – St. Giles Singapore Sling
- 25ml St. Giles gin
- 1 tbsp cherry brandy
- ½ tbsp benedictine
- ½ tbsp Cointreau
- 50ml pineapple juice
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- a dash Angostura bitters
- sparkling water, to top up (optional)
- pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry, to garnish
Method
- STEP 1
Put the St. Giles gin, cherry brandy, Bénédictine, Cointreau, pineapple juice, lime juice and Angostura bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well chilled, then strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
- STEP 2
Top up with a little sparkling water, if you like, and garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.
the white – st. giles white lady
- 50ml gin
- 25ml triple sec
- 25ml lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar syrup
- ½ egg white (optional)
- handful of ice
Method
- STEP 1
Pour the St. Giles gin, triple sec, lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg white (if using) and ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels very cold, then strain the mixture. Discard the ice, then return the drink to the shaker and shake again until the egg white is frothy.
- STEP 2
Pour into a coupe glass and garnish with a twist.
the blue – st. giles divers’ edition royal blue martini
- 50ml St. Giles Divers’ Edition gin
- 25ml blue curaçao
- 25ml lemon juice
- 2 tsp simple sugar syrup
Method
- STEP 1
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour over the St. Giles Divers’ Edition gin, blue curaçao, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Shake until well chilled and the outside of the shaker feels very cold.
- STEP 2
Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a twist of orange.
